This artwork is an auditory installation that intertwines the iconic TB303 sound of the Acid House movement with the traditional folk drum acoustic toy known as "Denden-Daiko," which has been cherished in Japan and around Asia for a long time.

This fusion is achieved through generative signal processing. The program originally described in Max8's RNBO has been ported to Raspberry Pi. Endlessly generated MIDI signals control the movements of both a synthesizer and the drum.

In the contemporary context, signal processing and information handling are already intrinsically linked to various physical phenomena, and I have simply connected and manifested these linkages. Likely, similar results could have been achieved through combinations of various other instruments. Once real-world phenomena are captured as information and incorporated into a computer, they transform and return to the physical world in altered forms.

The output of information isn't restricted to existing formats alone; all possibilities can be explored. The presentation of information, projected onto various platforms beyond just stereo speakers and projections, might carry humor at times, yet the process itself remains largely unaltered. What's being presented here is a difference in endpoints, merely a slight alteration in the angle of outputting information from conventional methods.

This "small initial difference in the process" might eventually lead to significant, unpredictable differences as it progresses.
